Hello, everyone. Well first thanks for checking out my website.

My journey began the summer of 2007 when I decided to join SecondLife after seeing some articles in a Colombian newspaper. About 3 weeks after I joined, I began DJing both in real life and second life, I felt that the game gave me another reason to pursue my desire for music.

I started off doing small events in the Colombian sim, and then I found Sarco Sound, a group of friends who I will never forget because they believed in me even when I was looking like a newbie. They helped me not only look decent but also grow as a DJ and a person, I am forever thankful to them. This tremendous push helped me gain lots of experience and meet many new contacts.

While at Sarco Sound, I joined “The Building” a NYC club which helped me meet many of the contacts, friends and fans I have today. Many clubs invited me to join their weekly schedule and well, the rest is history.

It wasn’t until I joined Costa Rica Sims that I felt my true official residency, since it was not only a place where I played my music, but it also became my home. I have been there for more than 9 months now and I have seen it grow to be the best estate to liveon the grid. I am very proud of my close friend, Giancarlo and forever thankful for also believing in me.

The growth has continued throughout the days, not only as a DJ but as a creator and enthusiast of many things.

The year 2009 marked a great change for me, I began producing my own tracks, two of which are already available on iTunes and although they are not club music, they are special to me because they represent part of my inspiration and deliver the feeling I wanted. I was also very happy to remix Fricker Frequency’s Emergence and I am continuing to work on my other tracks which can already be heard on some of my sets, look out for “My Groove” and “Uh.What”.

Now over two years later, I could not have imagined feeling so accomplished and happy after joining the virtual community. Looking back at all the things I have done and are currently doing, this has certainly been a very interesting and fantastic journey. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for believing in me, supporting me and enjoying what I do.

Sincerely,

-Azu Catteneo
